"The Wonder Deep Under" painted violin

In 2007, I was one of nine artists chosen statewide to participate in The Painted Violin Project, a fund-raising event benefitting the Florida Youth Orchestra. After each artist had painted/decorated a violin, they would travel with the orchestra throughout their 2008 concert season, and finally be auctioned off at a gala concert/banquet with the proceeds going to the orchestra, which is a non-profit organization. My violin, titled "The Wonder Deep Under", had a sculpted neck, a carved tailpiece in the shape of a squid, a string bridge carved to resemble a piece of pink coral and glass eyes on all of the painted fish. It was featured prominently in the orchestra's literature and on their website.
